Understanding learning styles across different cultures is crucial for educators to create inclusive and effective teaching environments. The 4MAT model, developed by Bernice McCarthy, offers a framework that categorizes learners into four distinct styles: concrete experience, reflective observation, abstract conceptualization, and active experimentation.

In this session we will discuss how to accommodate diverse learning styles across cultures using the 4MAT model, and how educators can adopt a culturally responsive teaching approach.
