The Brigham Leadership Program (BLP) at Brigham and Women’s Hospital is geared towards mid-career physicians, scientists, administrative leaders, advanced practice provider leaders and nursing and clinical directors in a management role and currently leading teams, projects, divisions, centers, clinics or laboratories. The BLP is a rigorous leadership development program offered by the BWH Faculty Development & Well-being Team with support from the department, hospital and physicians’ organization leadership in collaboration with Harvard Business School (HBS).
The BWH Faculty Mentoring Leadership Program (FMLP) is a peer learning experience for mid-career and senior faculty physician and scientist mentors to enhance their mentoring effectiveness. The program is geared towards faculty who are currently mentoring other faculty and are eager to foster a collaborative learning environment among BWH faculty mentors. Each of nine monthly sessions is a highly interactive, case-based discussion facilitated by senior faculty mentors who have participated in the program.
