Abstract:
The Australasian College for Emergency Medicine (ACEM) has administered a binational milestone progression system based on a suite of workplace-based assessments and regional progression panels since 2015. In the last decade, trainee numbers have doubled, fellow numbers increased by 30%, the training program has been reviewed, the curriculum updated twice, and training sites have increased by 20%.       This presentation will seek to outline some of the lessons learnt, goals achieved, and challenges encountered; and look to engage the audience in a discussion to share experiences and wins across the American and Australasian systems.
